The Interregional project RISTOR – Rural Innovation Centers for Sustainable and Inclusive Tourism is launching a new round of support for individuals, businesses and local initiatives wishing to play an active role in shaping the future of tourism in East Zagori in Greece and Korce in Albania.
The Interreg-RISTOR Incubation Programme will run for six months and is aimed at professionals, existing businesses, young people and aspiring entrepreneurs, producers, cultural figures and members of the local community who wish to develop or improve products, services and experiences centred on sustainable and inclusive tourism.
Through workshops, personalised mentoring, business meetings and networking events, participants will have the opportunity to:
- to develop their ideas and initiatives.
- to enhance their knowledge and skills.
- to discover useful tools and best practices.
- to connect with other people and professionals in the region.
- to draw up a basic business plan for their next steps.
The aim of the programme is to forge new partnerships and develop sustainable tourism initiatives that showcase the nature, culture, gastronomy, agri-food sector, local knowledge and unique identity of the Municipalities of Zagori and Korce.
It is free to attend and the deadline for applications is 15 September 2026.
The project is co-funded by the European Union and national funds from Greece and Albania through the Interreg (VI-A) IPA cross-border cooperation programme “Greece-Albania 2021–2027”.
