The Interreg-RISTOR project is launching a new, free cycle of business support for individuals, businesses, and local initiatives that want to actively contribute to the future of tourism in Zagori and Korçë by creating more income opportunities, new partnerships, and high-quality tourism experiences by leveraging Zagori’s and Korçë’s nature, culture, and local knowledge.
When: October–December 2026
Where: In-person and online meetings (weekday afternoons)
Who is the Incubation Program for: Professionals, businesses, young people or aspiring entrepreneurs, producers, and individuals and organizations in the cultural sector who wish to develop or improve services, products, and experiences centered on sustainable and inclusive tourism.
Of particular interest will be ideas and activities that connect tourism with nature, culture, gastronomy, agri-food, local arts and crafts, outdoor activities, and local history.
The program will help participants:
- Improve financial management, digital presence, marketing, and access to new customers and markets.
- Create tourism products and experiences that can attract visitors even outside the peak tourist season, by leveraging the area’s natural and cultural heritage.
- Learn about European and other available funding opportunities and gain a better understanding of which funding tools may be suitable for developing your idea or business.
Participants will come out of it with:
- A comprehensive action plan for the development or growth of your idea or business, with specific goals and next steps, incorporating environmental responsibility and accessibility.
- Practical tools (marketing plan, social media platforms, etc.) to help you find new customers and partners, better organize your business, and identify suitable funding opportunities.
- Access to a comprehensive network of producers, artisans, hospitality businesses, guides, and other local professionals.
