The Impact Hub

Impact Hubs make up a global network of people, places, and programs that inspire, connect and catalyze impact. Part innovation lab, part business incubator, and part community center, we offer our members a unique ecosystem of resources, inspiration, and collaboration opportunities to grow impact.

We started in 2013, locally rooted in Athens and globally connected with other 120 Impact Hubs worldwide. Today, we count with more than 400 members, numerous capacity building programs for social businesses, and great partnerships that capitalize the dynamic and expertise of each organization, with a purpose to strengthen the impact economy in Greece.

We are looking for a new collaborator to join our team and contribute to our efforts towards a more just and sustainable future for all.

The role

Job title: Project Assistant (FULL – TIME)  on site, in Athens

Reports to: Project Managers

Collaborates with: Events Manager, Site manager, Communications Team

* the position includes travelling inside & outside Greece, based on the geographic implementation of each programme

Responsibilities

  • Provides support in the execution of activities for and in monitoring the execution of project work plans and ensures that project activities
  • Tracks the progress of projects using appropriate project management tools and techniques. 
  • Conducting research and gathering data to support project initiatives
  • Coordinate logistics for execution of project activities
  • Coordinating the execution of events, including meetings, workshops and other work-related gatherings. 
  • Developing and maintaining relevant databases and filing systems for optimal management of information and contacts.
  • Participating in monitoring project’s progress
  • Communicate, collaborate and follow up with projects’ stakeholders (organization partners)
  • Assist in writing reports and other project related documentation. 
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation (photos, videos, impact measurement)
  • Support the communication and promotion of project activities

Requirements

  • Relevant work/study experience in the following areas: business or operations, communications, performance management, entrepreneurship & startup environment
  • Able to proactively address potential issues & suggest solutions
  • Collaborative working style and team-player attitude
  • Able to thrive in a high-volume, deadline-driven work environment
  • Excellent computer skills
  • Appreciated experience in events production
  • Appreciated experience in international collaborations
  • Fluency in greek & english. Third language is appreciated.
