Impact Hubs make up a global network of people, places, and programs that inspire, connect and catalyze impact. Part innovation lab, part business incubator & accelerator, and part community center, we offer our members a unique ecosystem of resources, inspiration, and collaboration opportunities to grow impact.
We started in 2013, locally rooted in Athens and globally connected with +105 Impact Hubs worldwide. Today, we currently host & support more than 200 community members, numerous capacity building programs for impactful businesses, and great partnerships that capitalize the dynamic and expertise of each organization, with a purpose to strengthen the impact economy field in Greece.

The role
The purpose of this role is to to support Impact Hub Athens’ activities through its current & future projects. We are looking for an experienced Program Manager to deliver purpose driven programs within the field of research, environment, innovation & entrepreneurship, community & ecosystem building.
The candidate will be responsible for the coordination and delivery of different programs of various sizes, but also engage and provide support across the programs portfolio based on their particular expertise to ensure complementarity, coordination, alignment and cross pollination across program teams/ task forces.
Within the responsibilities of the role, falls the day to day operations effectiveness and the achievement of each key strategic and programmatic outcome.
A successful Program Manager must have a broad knowledge of program management principles, along with a strategic mindset, as well as be able to lead and develop with the IHA team members, so as to ensure that every program will be delivered successfully, add the highest possible value to the organization and ensure continuity of the partnerships that will be developed during each program implementation.

Job title: Program Manager (FULL-TIME)
Collaborates with: Fundraising Manager, Entrepreneurial & Innovation Services Manager, other Program Managers, Business Development Director, CEOs
Responsibilities
- The implementation and monitoring of programs/projects deliverables, milestones, KPIs and overall timeline;
- Plan, organize, and adapt activities to achieve projects’ goals, foreseeing and managing project risks.
- Directly implement activities such as project meetings, documentation, reports, research support, events production development, entrepreneurial support services, facilitation, consulting, communications (depending on the nature of IH Athens’ role in each project) and reviewing of project outputs.
- Coordinate the implementation of projects’ tasks assigned to project partners and/or internal teams (e.g. communication, finance), ensuring final delivery.
- Initiate, manage and cultivate relations with third parties, stakeholders and consortium partners to ensure successful project implementation.
- Coordinate participatory actions for Community Building and stakeholders engagement for the wide or targeted outreach of each program
- Facilitate the content and coordinate the communication channels of each initiative program (website, blog, social media, campaigns etc.)
- Monitor and report on budgeting and resources allocation with the Finance Coordinator & CEOs/ Programme Pioneers
- Develop and produce Technical, progress, financial reports according to the specifications of each project
- Represent the organisation and the project to relevant gatherings, consortium meetings and respective events in greece and abroad.
- The project development (including identification of funding opportunities, developing project partnerships and preparing concept notes and project proposals);
Qualifications – Requirements
- Academic background in Management / Humanities and Social Sciences / Marketing / Education or relevant field. A postgraduate degree will be considered an asset.
- Good knowledge and understanding of project management & design methodologies.
- Excellent communication skills in English and Greek, and ability to adapt messages to fit the needs of a variety of audiences.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize and meet strict deadlines.
- Facilitation and process design skills
- Excellent Knowledge of performance evaluation techniques and key metrics;
- Excellent knowledge of data analysis, reporting and budgeting;
- Working knowledge of MS office and cloud tools (eg G Drive)
- Excellent organizational skills including the ability to work under pressure, manage multiple tasks and prioritize own workload;
- Ability to adjust to constantly changing situations while maintaining focus on delivery and follow-through;
- A business acumen with a strategic ability;
- An analytical mindset with great problem-solving abilities;
- Ability to think strategically, work creatively, effectively and in an innovative manner;
- Excellent communication skills;
- Availability to travel.
Preferred
- At least 3+ years of experience in EU-funded projects management and implementation.
- Extensive experience in proposal preparation and submission under the European Funding schemes, philanthropic foundations & private donors;
- Good knowledge and understanding of EU procedures reporting & management methodologies
- Knowledge on project management tools (eg. Asana)
- Project Management certifications
- Entrepreneurial support experience (running incubation, acceleration programs, delivering trainings/ workshops)
- Experience in co-creation & multi -stakeholder processes
