Better Incubation aimed to promote entrepreneurship and self-employment for unemployed and vulnerable groups as a means of creating jobs, developing skills, and improving society’s inclusivity.

During the Momentum of Cooperation initiative, migrant and refugee women were provided with vocational training and educational and entrepreneurial skills and tools in order to overcome the barriers they faced when they were undergoing the socio-economic integration process.

An Active citizens fund program designed to empower migrant and refugee women to promote social cohesion. It included the development of creative skills through art workshops and informative seminars on entrepreneurship and professional counseling.

Programmers, designers, social entrepreneurs, humanitarian workers, educators, artists worked together to find sustainable and scalable solutions for and with refugees and migrants in Greece.

OpenClimAccelerator Beyond 2023 includes incubation, acceleration, and investment opportunities to mature ideas and or startups with a special focus on circular & net zero solutions and circular economy. It provides  entrepreneurial support, networking, and funding opportunities – grants to help companies go to the next level and scale their operations and impact.

Through the program, locals were able to establish sustainable development foundations by supporting nature protection and developing business plans with a positive impact on two of the most important areas in Greece for biodiversity, Gyaros and Dadia Forest.

A targeted program for young entrepreneurs and (post-) graduate students as well as experts and professionals in industry, science and environment for the development of social businesses for plastic reduction and alternative products.

A scaling program for social entrepreneurs which attracted 100 participating social innovators who were immersed in the Impact Hub network to acquire knowledge, skills and advice from top mentors.

An Investment Ready Program, ‘Encouraging Future Generations’ by Allianz and Impact Hub was a unique acceleration program, tailored for purpose driven entrepreneurs aiming to foster social inclusion of children and youth in Indonesia, Greece, Germany and Spain. Over a duration of 6 months, 8 participating teams engaged in a systematic review of their business model, team and strategy.

Participating as a frontrunner city at socialchallenges.eu, a platform aiming at creating a marketplace where actual social challenges can meet powerful and innovative solutions connecting Public Authorities, Private Companies, Third Sector Organisations in defining, prioritizing social and environmental challenges.
