HYDROUSA

HYDROUSA  is a Horizon2020 Innovation Action project funded by the European Union which is coordinated by the Sanitary Engineering Laboratory of the National Technical University of Athens.

HYDROUSA revolutionizes the water value chain in Mediterranean regions by applying innovative solutions for water and wastewater management, which close the water loops and boost the agricultural and energy profile of these areas by recovering water, energy and high added value products. The HYDSOUSA concept is materialised in six full-scale demonstration sites (HYDROs) in three Mediterranean islands (Lesvos, Mykonos and Tinos) and through 25 transferability case studies all over the world.

In the context of HYDROUSA,Impact Hub Athens takes over the design & dissemination of the informational & educational actions & involvement of local stakeholders. Specifically, Impact Hub Athens in collaboration with HYDROUSA Network undertakes the design of co-creation workshops, walks & meetings around pilot applications, webinars and other activities that aim at the creation of active communities for water.
