Since 2013, we have been building a vibrant community in Athens while remaining connected to a global network spanning more than 120 locations and 65+ countries. Through our work, we support entrepreneurship, innovation, community building and social impact by providing collaborative workspaces, events, programmes and opportunities for learning and connection – strengthening the impact economy field in Greece.

The role

The Content Manager is responsible for developing, producing, and managing Impact Hub Athens’ organisational content across its digital and physical communication channels.

The role focuses on strengthening the organisation’s overall identity, visibility, and public presence through consistent storytelling, high-quality visual communication, editorial content, social media, website updates, newsletters, presentations, and branded materials.

The Content Manager works closely with the Head of Marketing & Communications to translate Impact Hub Athens’ strategy, activities, community, partnerships, spaces, and impact into clear and engaging content.

They also collaborate closely with the Programmes Communications Manager to ensure alignment between programme and project communication activities and the wider Impact Hub Athens narrative, particularly when content is published through shared organisational channels.

Collaborates with: Program Managers, Marketing & Communications Department, Fundraising Manager, Entrepreneurial & Innovation Services Manager, Financial Administration, CEOs, external providers and partners of the respective consortia

Reports to: Head of Communications

Key Responsibilities

  • Create copy and visuals for Impact Hub Athens’ social media, website, newsletters, blog posts, presentations, and other communication materials.
  • Plan and manage the organisation’s social media content calendar.
  • Write, edit, and proofread content in Greek and English.
  • Create branded materials, including presentations, quote cards, event visuals, infographics, and templates.
  • Maintain and update the Impact Hub Athens website and digital content.
  • Prepare and send newsletters and email campaigns.
  • Collect stories, news, quotes, and updates from the organisation’s teams, community, and partners.
  • Support the communication and promotion of events, campaigns, partnerships, and organisational activities.
  • Ensure consistency in tone of voice, visual identity, and branding across all channels.
  • Monitor and report on the performance of social media, newsletters, and website content in order to translate the findings into informed communications actions.
  • Maintain an organised library of photos, videos, templates, and communication assets.
  • Work with the Programmes Communications Manager to coordinate content shared through Impact Hub Athens’ channels and support with programme-related communications tasks .

 

Qualifications – Requirements

  • Professional experience in content creation, communications, digital marketing, social media management, journalism, branding, or a related field.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills in English and Greek.
  • Strong visual communication and content design skills.
  • Experience using tools such as Canva, PowerPoint, email marketing platforms, content management systems, and social media scheduling tools.
  • Ability to create and adapt content for different platforms, formats, audiences, and communication objectives.
  • Understanding of brand consistency, digital storytelling, and audience engagement.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple communication requests and deadlines.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with different teams and translate complex information into accessible content.
  • Attention to detail, editorial judgement, and a proactive approach to identifying communication opportunities.
  • Interest in social innovation, sustainability, entrepreneurship, community building, culture, and positive social and environmental impact.
  • Availability to travel

 

Preferred

  • Experience in participating in EU-funded projects 
  • Knowledge on project management tools (eg. Asana)
  • Experience with photography, video production and the Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Experience in co-creation & multi -stakeholder processes
  • Facilitation and process design skills
  • Experience in producing podcast series that covers various topics
