The Impact Hub
Impact Hubs make up a global network of people, places, and programs that inspire, connect and catalyze impact. Part innovation lab, part business incubator, and part community center, we offer our members a unique ecosystem of resources, inspiration, and collaboration opportunities to grow impact.
We have started in 2013, locally rooted in Athens and globally connected with other 120 Impact Hubs worldwide. Today, we count with more than 400 members, numerous capacity building programs for social businesses, and great partnerships that capitalize the dynamic and expertise of each organization, with a purpose to strengthen the impact economy in Greece.
We are looking for a new collaborator to join our team and contribute to our efforts towards a more just and sutainable future for all.
The Role
Job title: Communications and Digital Content Services Coordinator (FULL TIME)
Collaborates with: Business Unit Coordinators, Impact Hub Directors, Event Manager, Program Managers, Finance & Operations Lead, Ηosting team
Responsibilities
Social Media
- Social Media Pages Management (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Linkedin) for Impact Hub Athens, The Municipal Market of Kypseli, HYDROUSA H2020 project
- Social Media Plan creation and optimization
- Copy and content creation
- Facebook events creation and management
- Cooperation with Business Units and project teams to identify relevant content
- Monthly Analysis & reporting of results and optimisation suggestions
Newsletter
- Content creation and prioritization
- Monthly Analysis & reporting of results and optimisation suggestions
Websites run by the team
- Content Creation (Blogposts, pages content, etc) and update
- New features and pages introduction according to needs
- Website Taxonomy and user experience optimisation
Visual Designs & Videos
- Simple designs of graphics according to brand guidelines
- For social media
- For newsletters
- For invitations to events
- Design curation of booklets, presentations, etc
- Simple video editing
Other Communication tasks
- Press Releases and copy creation for different projects
- Campaigns creation and realisation in cooperation with other team members and communications agency
- Market research
- Online event management tools (eg eventbrite)
- Communication and alignment with external communications agency
- PR Events organisation for journalists or other relevant stakeholders
Qualifications
Knowledge and Experience
- Experience in Social Media Management
- Experience in content creation and optimisation
- Experience in Website Management tools and especially WordPress
- Experience in graphic design tools such as Illustrator
- Experience in Project Management, through participating in a project team
- Experience or interest and studies on Digital Marketing
- Preferable relevant work/study experience in the following areas: business or operations, marketing, communications, performance management, entrepreneurship & startup environment
- Preferable video editing skills
- Interest in entrepreneurship and social innovation
- Passionate about and immersed into relevant topics, developments and conversations in the field of social impact and innovation.
- Interest about major global challenges (climate change, energy alternatives, food systems, transportation), and curious about practical solutions
- Proficient Greek & English language skills
Skills & Abilities
- Sociable and outgoing person
- Organized and detail-oriented, able to manage multiple goals & tasks on a daily basis
- Comfortable interacting with several stakeholders and able to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary and distributed teams
- Flexibility in receiving different messages and being able to combine and deliver the main points and essence.
