#SaveTheDate: We are ready for the “ClimAccelerator DemoDay”, on the 15th of September.

Climate change, biodiversity loss and resource depletion require urgent response due to their significant impacts on our environment, economy, and society. The effects are already visible on the communities around the world. Immediate actions are required to prevent further damage and ensure a sustainable and resilient future by conserving resources, promoting sustainable practices, and developing innovative solutions.

Collective Action is our organisation’s response to the climate and biodiversity crisis facing our cities/world. We commit to working together for a regenerative future for people and the planet, and activating citizens to disseminate, adopt and embrace circular solutions, while supporting ventures with the necessary resources, publicity, infrastructure, and networks.

In that frame, for a third year in a row, in collaboration with Climate Kic and with the support of John S Latsis Public Benefit Foundation, we run the ClimAccelerator Greece, in order to support green ventures to scale their solutions faster by building global, regional, and local partnerships and business solutions, that tackle the aforementioned pressing problems.

During the past two years, we managed to:

  • Support 30 entrepreneurial solutions for a more green and circular economy solutions enabled and scaled,
  • Distribute 180.000 euros in grants distributed &
  • Enable 14 new products to launch to the european market

For 2023, we started in April with a Hackathon in order to choose the 10 ventures that would join this year ‘s cohort and for the past 3 months we have been supporting them to enrich their business & financial models.

So the time has come for us to choose the 3 most promising ventures that will:

  1. Win an entry ticket to Stage 2
  2. A grant opportunity of a total of 9,000 euros

Our judging criteria is broken up into five sections. Teams are judged according to the following 5 criteria (weighed equally) and each of the judges will judge according to his/her expertise.

  1. Climate Impact Potential
  2. Team
  3. Growth Plan
  4. Financial Sustainability
  5. Grant Opportunity
