Would you like to learn how to code, develop apps and experiment with 3D printing and robotics?
Then join us for fun, creative workshops to learn new skills that you can use on your own or in your future studies or career!

WHO: Youth ages 15-18 can apply. No previous experience with coding/computer programming is necessary, just a desire to learn! Basic understanding of English is required as all workshops will be in English.

WHAT: Free workshops using open source software with latest technology.

November 2017: Introduction to 3D printing, robotics and IoT applications.
December 2017: Introductory Python programming

Each 3 hour session (2 times a week x 3 hours x 8 weeks) will give you the opportunity to learn, experiment and create something new. All selected participants will also get access once a week, to the learning lab for free practice and experimenting in teams or individually.

WHEN: Every Saturday and Sunday in November and December 2017, in central Athens, at the Municipal Market of Kypseli (Δημοτική Αγορά Κυψέλης). Free public transportation tickets will be provided for all participants.

WHY: Digital literacy is a critical skill for the 21st century. We want to introduce you to computer coding and see where your imagination takes you. Everyone deserves a chance to learn new skills, so these courses are open to Greek students and newcomers to Greece.

November – December 2017:  Digital Content Production and Web Design

Each 3 hour session (2 times a week x 3 hours x 8 weeks) will give you the opportunity to learn, experiment and create something new. All selected participants will also get access once a week, to the learning lab for free  practice and experimenting in teams or individually.

WHEN: Every Monday and Wednesday for  Use of LibreOffice for an office automation environment and every Tuesday and Thursday for Digital Content Production and Web Designing November and December 2017, in central Athens at the Municipal Market of Kypseli (Δημοτική Αγορά Κυψέλης).  Free public transportation tickets will be provided for all participants.
