AXA, the number one global insurance brand (Interbrand), has partnered with Impact Hub to introduce an initiative with the goal of empowering people to live better lives through efforts to prevent health and safety risks. Prevention With Impact will award one outstanding venture with a personalized acceleration program, professional consultancy from AXA’s expert employee network, and €50,000 to scale.

This is the eighth consecutive year that AXA has been the number one global insurance brand on Interbrand’s list, where they are the 46th best global brand overall. What keeps them on top? AXA has created an entire innovation ecosystem devoted to accelerating disruptive business models and collaborating with startups at all stages. And this year, the concept will play a part in their annual Corporate Responsibility (CR) Week, when AXA’s 166,000 employees in 64 countries will vote for their favorite Prevention With Impact finalist.
The winning initiative will receive a one-on-one acceleration program tailored to their individual needs. The journey to scale begins with a 7-day workshop in a European city on July 17, followed by three months of in-depth mentorship with an AXA Global Graduate. This high-potential employee will work alongside the venture to help develop and pitch a scaling plan to AXA departments for a chance at commercialization. Combined with a €50,000 grant and access to AXA executives for pro-bono advice, the Prevention With Impact accelerator is a concrete step on the path to global scaling.
Eligible applicants must be dedicated to helping reduce risks to people and their property through interventions in the following health and safety categories: healthy living & fitness, addiction prevention & management, digital healthcare, mental health & wellness, chronic disease treatment, fire safety, road & automotive safety, security & theft prevention, workplace safety, safety at home, and cyber security.
Registered for-profit and nonprofit entities from anywhere in the world are encouraged to apply by March 24. Impact Hub membership is not required, but initiatives must be globally scalable and have demonstrated impact. Preference is given to solutions that can be digitally distributed.
