What is it?
Skill Up! is a series of social entrepreneurship workshops taking place in Norway and Greece, aiming at introducing the concept of social entrepreneurship to vulnerable groups with the ultimate objective of promoting social integration and equal employment opportunities. Skill Up! aims at introducing these people to entrepreneurial tools which are important for their access into the labor market and at promoting the social impact that a social enterprise can bring to the society. The main objective of these three workshops is therefore twofold; to use social entrepreneurship as a tool for promoting equal opportunities in the labor market and integration of these vulnerable groups in the society as well as identify similarities in the obstacles faced by these vulnerable groups in Norway and Greece in order to develop policy recommendations addressed to the EU level.
